After serving budget friendly smartphones and tablets, Swipe Technologies is trying its luck in the market of wearable gadgets. The company on Thursday announced its F-Band fitness tracker in India. It has further reported that the band will be available for sale, starting from January 7 with a price tag of Rs. 1,499.
Same as the other fitness tracking bands available in the market, the Swipe F-Band also offers the ability to track steps of the user as well as monitoring its sleep. The band keeps a track record of the daily activity of the user, throughout the day and provides useful insights such as a total number of calories burned, etc. All of the pieces of information is provided by the company’s F-Band app that need to be installed in the smartphone. Users can save up to a year worth of data, Swipe said.
The Swipe F-Band looks much similar to a smartwatch with a small display, despite a slim wristband that you might have tried earlier. Also, it connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth connection, in order to feed your phone’s notifications to the wearable. As far other specifications are concerned, the Swipe F-Band is fueled with a 55mAh battery, which as per Swipe’s claim, can keep the wearable ticking for up to seven days on a single charge.
The fitness tracking band is available to purchase from January 7 on an e-commerce website, Snapdeal at a price of Rs. 1,499 in blue and red colour variant. The company further reported that the first 100 customers can snag the gadget at Rs. 1,299.
F-Band comes with features such as steps tracker, sleep monitor and calling reminder. Here’s a list in detail-
