AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced electronic components and interconnect, sensor, control, and antenna solutions, was recently honored with a 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business unit. Now in its twelfth year, the annual Raytheon IDS Supplier Excellence Awards recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements, including overall quality and on-time delivery.
AVX has earned several of these awards in years past, but this most recent 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award marks the first time that the AVX Filters division has been recognized by Raytheon in their supplier excellence program. Based in Sun Valley, California, AVX Filters designs and manufacturers electronic filters, capacitors, medical- and space-rated EMI filters, and subassemblies.
“AVX is honored to receive another 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon Integrated Defense System and we’re very proud of our filters division for earning this recognition for the first time,” said Alex Schenkel, Vice President of Global Sales, AVX. “This accomplishment exemplifies the consistent work and dedication that AVX puts into developing and producing high-quality products and providing impeccable customer service. We are committed to developing innovative passive component, interconnect, sensor, control, and antenna solutions that exceed both our quality standards and our customer’s expectations and help advance technology across multiple markets”, he added.
