TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, presented its 2017 Electronic Global Distributor Awards to Future Electronics and Mouser Electronics in the Broadline and Catalog (High Service) distributor categories. The annual awards recognize TE’s highest-performing distribution partners based on sales growth, market share growth, customer growth and business plan performance.
“I am proud of these two outstanding partners and the impact they have on our mutual customers,” said Joan Wainwright, president of channel and customer experience at TE. “Future’s investment in training their sales team contributed to their 15 percent point of sale growth and their impressive business plan performance. For the fifth consecutive year, Mouser won the Global Catalog Distributor of the Year Award by achieving record sales in all regions and growing their TE customer base by 11 percent.”
“It’s an honor to be named Global Broadline Distributor of the Year by TE Connectivity, for the second year in a row,” said Jack Voelmle, corporate vice president of global interconnect sales at Future Electronics. “Our industry-leading technical team, our committed business development managers, and our advanced service and supply chain programs have all contributed to this success, and we’re grateful to have such an outstanding partner in TE.”
Mouser Electronics president and CEO, Glenn Smith, shared similar sentiments. “Mouser is greatly honored to receive this prestigious award, and we’d like to thank TE Connectivity for recognizing the outstanding efforts of our teams around the world. TE is an industry leader and a valued business partner. We look forward to our continued mutual success.”
TE presented the regional awards earlier this year. Winners of the regional awards were: Arrow Electronics in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) and EMEA; Master Electronics in the Americas; and SUZUDEN in Japan.
