Altus Group, a leading supplier of capital equipment in the UK and Ireland, will complete an extensive expansion program in June when it opens its doors to a new state-of-the-art applications facility in Redditch with the aim of continuing the company’s unrivalled customer service and a high level of equipment offerings.
Customers are invited to the new facility on 19 and 20 June when Altus introduces its impressive new headquarters with a Technology Event which will see speakers from world-leading electronics equipment manufacturers present the latest information on product developments, technological concepts, innovations and manufacturing processes.
“With our long-term strategy for growth, Altus, requires intelligent investments in infrastructure to ensure we continue to provide a first class service and focus on our support capabilities,” said Richard Booth, Altus’ Managing Director. “This has led us to move into our new home which will enable us to provide a higher standard of applications qualification and justification.
“The investment gives us a substantial 404 sq. m. purpose built facility which includes head office space as well as a prestigious demonstration area. It also provides us with an opportunity to run bespoke training packages on production equipment away from the stresses of a customer’s own site. What’s more, we now hope we have a base to function from for the foreseeable future and continue to build from the success of recent years.”
Richard concludes: “To introduce our new facilities, we are holding a two-day Technology Event. This is the perfect way to present our new facility to both customers and our pre-eminent suppliers, and will allow us to use the demonstration facilities, training rooms and presentation area to the best effect. We look forward to welcoming customers to our new applications facility during the technology event.”
The Technology Event being held on 19 and 20 June will include an interesting mix of presentations and hand-on demonstrations. Cencorp Automation will introduce the company’s range of flexible and effective equipment including odd form placement and laser applications with an in-depth look at its use within the electronics industry.
Koh Young will look at intelligent solutions with technologies that have 3D AOI and SPI capabilities, with kolb Cleaning Technology GmbH introducing its long term cleaning solutions and equipment.
Also presenting is Scienscope. With an extensive range of component counting equipment, Scienscope is the only supplier with the capability of an inline system allowing for the highest level of automation in component counting on the market.
Finally, Industore, providers of innovative storage solutions, will present a range of equipment all of which work with the ‘SMART’ Manufacturing principle.
