Mouser Electronics, Inc., is now shipping the QPF4532 Wi-Fi 6 integrated front end module (FEM) from Qorvo, designed for the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) systems such as residential gateways, wireless routers, access points and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
The Qorvo QPF4532 FEM, available from Mouser Electronics, integrates a 5.0 GHz power amplifier (PA), single-pole, two-throw (SP2T) switch and bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device. With a compact form factor and integrated matching that minimizes layout area in the application, the performance of the QPF4532 is focused on optimizing the PA for a 3.3 V supply voltage to conserve power consumption, while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading-edge throughput. Receive path design matches optimal technologies to maximize receive sensitivity through noise figure performance as low as 2 dB, for consistency over a wider variety of conditions.
The QPF4532 features integrated die-level filtering for second and third harmonics as well as 2.4 GHz rejection for dual-band, dual-concurrent (DBDC) operation. For application feedback, a DC power detector is integrated into the halogen- and lead-free package to provide a voltage that is proportional to the output power from the transmit path.
For development, Mouser also stocks the QPF4532EVB evaluation board, which provides an example application circuit to allow rapid prototyping when incorporated into existing designs.
