IEEMA an apex association of power electrical and industrial electronics across India will be organising Metering India Seminar at New Delhi this April.
The last edition of such seminar in 2015 saw participation of more than 400 delegates from all relevant stakeholders, said Director General IEEMA, Sunil Misra.
The theme of this year’s event is “Towards Smart and Sustainable Utilities” this being is in line to Government of India’s vision of proving 24X7 Power for All.
The seminar is supported by Ministry of Power, MNRE, NSGM and IEC.
The seminar provides an ideal forum for interaction on all issues related to energy metering in India and the technological advancements being made across the world in this field. The Seminar is expected to attract a large number of participants from all stakeholders, including policy makers (Government), users (IT Electricity Companies and Utilities), Regulators, R&D/Standardization and Testing Institutions apart from meter manufacturers.
Some of the organizations who have contributed their technical papers are APDCL, BSES, CESC , DTL, ERDA, Genus Power , Landis+Gyr, Larsen & Toubro, MGVCL, MNRE, MPPKVVCL, OPCT, PGCIL, PVVNL, Schneider, Secure Meters ,Siemens and TPDDL.
Set in 1948 IEEMA, the first ISO certified industry association in India, has 800 plus member organizations encompassing the complete value chain in power generation, transmission and distribution equipment. IEEMA members have contributed to more than 90% of the power equipment installed in India.
