Anritsu Corporation (President Hirokazu Hamada) is pleased to announce that its New Radio RF Conformance Test System ME7873NR, has achieved an industry first for GCF certification of FR2 spurious tests.
The ME7873NR won a world’s first approval for spurious testing on GCF 5G NR FR2 Non Standalone (NSA) mode at the April CAG meeting. To enable this certification by the GCF, Anritsu led the RAN5 meeting by submitting many CRs to define the 3GPP specification FR2 spurious test case.
For the future, Anritsu expects the ME7873NR to win further validations from the GCF and PTCRB for the RF and RRM mmWave frequency bands, so as to play a key role in the commercialization of 5G mobile networks and helping to bring 5G mobile terminals to market as soon as possible.
Product Outline
The New Radio RF Conformance Test System ME7873NR is an automated system for 3GPP TS38.521/TS38.533- defined 5G NR RF/RRM tests. It supports both planned 5G NR Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes, while combination with Anritsu’s 5G over-the-air (OTA) chamber (CATR) covers all 5G frequency bands, including not only Sub-6 GHz but also mmWave. The flexible system configuration can be customized easily for the measurement conditions while also supporting LTE, LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), LTE-A Pro, and W-CDMA RF tests, as well as carrier acceptance tests (CAT). An upgrade from the LTE-Advanced RF Conformance Test System ME7873LA to add 5G support offers customers a cost-effective RF test system meeting required test conditions.
