Affine, a leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Engineering solutions provider headquartered in Bangalore, has revealed the shortlisted startups for its Global Accelerator Program – DeepCamp.
Applications for the first cohort of DeepCamp, a Global Accelerator Program for deep tech startups, were open from August to September 2021. DeepCamp is the first global accelerator launched by a pure-play analytics firm, as well as the first accelerator to provide hands-on support in developing algorithms, engineering design, and user experience (UI/UX) for start-ups. A boot camp and an interview round led by business and technology thought leaders like Ajinkya Bhave, Director and Country Head for Siemens Engineering Services, Prashanth A., Head of Marketing – Mobility Sector India, Project House for Digital Mobility solutions, Nirupam Srivastava, VP Strategy and AI with Hero Corporate, Serge De Vos, Sr Director of Operations at AB InBev, Pankaj Rai, Group Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Aditya Birla Group, Mathangi Sri, VP Data Science & Head of Data – GoFood (GoJek), Sameer Dhanranjani, CEO and Co-founder of AIQRATE advisory & Consulting, Sanchayan Sinha, Investing partner at Achar Capital along with representatives from SINE (IIT Bombay), IIIT Bangalore and Inflexor Ventures were part of the shortlisting process. Only six start-ups advanced to the final stage of evaluation, which included a 60-minute interview in December 2021.
Start-ups namely Algomox, founded by technology leader Anil Kuriakose and business leader Pincy P; and Ultrainstinct, founded by IITians Nikhil Pareek and Vaishnavi Shukla, were announced as the winners. Alogomox enables the IT Operations team to make faster decisions through cross-domain observability and reduce the cost of IT Operations using advanced AI-based automation. Ultrainstinct is a Saas based intelligent security product enabling users with real-time actionable insights into the crime over an easy-to-use dashboard.

Algomox and Ultrainstinct will have the opportunity to network with and learn from some of the most well-known global brands in the technology sector, as well as gain Affine’s partner AWS cloud credits and co-sell opportunities with Azure. Apart from monetary perks such as office space, IT infrastructure, and cloud credits, Affine has also committed to investing up to USD $50,000 in equity investment.

This will significantly help the selected startups improve their solutions.”

Following the successful launch of the first cohort, Affine is gearing up to invite submissions for the second cohort of the DeepCamp accelerator program.
